The original problem happened after I took it to honda the first time because of a 3rd gear problem which happened to be a bad 3rd gear and they replaced the gear set. About a month later, I noticed my clutch was having problems disengaging. The pedal would even say down and get stuck.

My initial thought was a non-lubricated clutch release or throwout bearing. If where the bearing meets the main shaft doesn’t have high heat grease the grease would eventually dissolve because of the high heat friction. Depressing the clutch with no lubricant would cause this bearing to stick and not release. This was causing my car to stay in gear, and the shifter would not move out of gear. If you have had this problem or have had any other inquiries on this problem and have been able to help, I would appreciate any insight you could give me.

But if you’re hearing a noise every time the pedal is pushed in (usually a screech,whir,almost like a squeak) then that’s going to be the throwout bearing.

In order to replace that you will have to drop the trans and clutch so might be a good time to do a clutch kit while your in there

when engine is hot, clutch pedal is stiff, when engine is cool, clutch pedal not so stiff, but never smooth, but there is a creaky sound all the time when I slowly depress clutch pedal. some times gear shift does not easily go into reverse or second gear.

there are no leaks, no slippages, I tried bleeding no improvement.

Mechanic says this is a issue with pressure plate but suggests I replace entire clutch set ( clutch plate, pressure plate and bearing), what do you think?

the clutch wont engage sometimes when you let up on it

i think the clutch is worn out but like… you shouldnt be able to shift sometimes then it not shift.. you know?
